It’s what we know – our bread and butter if you will. Taking it right back to the start of Different Strokes, our Managing Director, Robert Crawford, used to peddle around the streets of Kendal with his paintbrushes in his rucksack and paint tins over his handlebars. Since 1999, Robert and the Different Strokes team have been transforming homes in the South Lakes to an impeccable standard. As the reputation for Robert’s services continued to hike, the team grew and we now have over 20 highly skilled painters and decorators covering Kendal, The Lake District and South Lancashire.

From small touch ups after water damage and keeping on top of routine maintenance, right through to full property redecoration and everything in between, our team can be sure to help with this. Likewise, the outside of your home is the first thing you see when you arrive. We believe that it’s the little details that make the biggest difference when it comes to exterior painting and it’s that initial ‘wow’ factor that we’re out to achieve. We collaborate closely with access companies throughout the region to make the process as simple as can be. As well as full external redecoration, we also offer decorating services that include:
